Bio:
Felix Idle is a Sydney-born designer, artist, musician, and translator based out of Tokyo, Japan. Graduating from ANU School of Art & Design in 2016, he curates events, upcycles second-hand clothing, and performs music under the name Wa?ste. His work collides his subjective observations on the everyday with an interest in linguistics, media theory, and internet art. He works in video, sound, painting, ink, collage, clothing alteration and live performance.

Hemp loose knit base > burned holes > patched with various fabrics (striped cotton shirt, fake fur silver leopard print, sweater ribbing, velvet) > constructed an original collar section with embedded lace > attached ornaments such as buttons, broken toy gems, broken hair clips and embroidered with colored thread, reflective safety strips, embroidered heart, found ring in collar and elaborate glass bead > sprayed navy stars onto the body with fabric-safe spray paint model: Yiqing
